Amazon in Bangalore, India, seeks a Software Development Manager for the Sports Data Platform within Prime Video Sports. You will lead a high-performing team building real-time notification and data systems that power live sports experiences for millions of users worldwide.
You'll own the technical vision, partner with product and design, and drive initiatives across time zones to deliver scalable, reliable live data processing at global scale.
Ever wondered how millions of sports fans worldwide get the right notification at the perfect moment during a live game, or how a match result instantly updates across every screen? Come build the systems that make it happen.
We're looking for a Software Development Manager to lead a team in Bangalore, India, that sits at the intersection of real-time sports data and customer experience for one of the world's largest streaming platforms. You'll own and drive the technical vision for three critical areas.
You'll lead the team building intelligent, real-time notification systems that reach fans during the moments that matter most, think close game alerts, score updates, and live activity feeds across devices. Your systems will process live sports signals and make split second decisions about what to send, when, and to whom, at global scale.
You will hire and grow a high performing engineering team, define the technical roadmap, and deliver systems that directly shape how customers experience live sports. You'll work closely with product, design, and partner teams across multiple time zones to solve ambiguous, high impact problems. Your decisions will be visible at the highest levels of the organization and felt by millions of customers on game day.
This is a rare opportunity to build from the ground up in a fast growing, high visibility space. Sports on streaming is still early innings, and the problems here are genuinely hard: real‑time data at scale, intelligent automation, and matching across thousands of global sports entities. You'll have the autonomy to define and drive innovative features.
If you love building systems that delight customers in real time and want to be a part of shaping the future of live sports experiences, we'd love to talk.
