Amazon in Bangalore/Karnataka is seeking a Software Development Engineer (Prime Video) for the Sports Immersive Experience team. As an SDE-2, you will design, build, and operate scalable catalog services for live sports data and content distribution.
You will collaborate with product management and operations, contribute to architecture, code reviews, testing, and deployments, and mentor newer engineers while upholding reliability and performance.

The Prime Video Sports Publishing (LEP) team is the owner, steward, and authority responsible for the sports catalog that powers the live sports experience for Prime Video customers worldwide. As an SDE-2 on the LEP team, you will play a pivotal role in building and operating the suite of services that fulfill our vision to be the world's richest, reliable and low latent catalog that enables sports fans worldwide to discover, purchase and consume sports content in any format, on any device.

Sports Immersive Experience (SIE) is responsible for immersive experiences such as sports betting and fantasy sports, as well as powering sports pages with sports data. The team also owns a foundational Tier 1 sports edge services that powers team and league sports pages (NBA and MLB in 2025) while also acting as an enabler for features such as favorites. In addition to the sports edge service, this team is also responsible for PVLumina, a critical component of the Prime Video ecosystem, serving as a centralized backend service responsible for aggregating and delivering features to enhance in-playback experiences such as NextUp, Server Side Multi-View, Double Headers, Miro, and Timehop.
