Were seeking a Software Development Manager to lead an engineering team within Amazons Center of Excellence for Orchestration (ORCA). This role offers the opportunity to shape the future of Amazons tier-1, multi-tenant orchestration platform that powers mission-critical business workflows across Amazons diverse ecosystem, from Retail to Digital Services and beyond.
ORCA is built on HERD and serves as the backbone for implementing complex business processes through workflow automation. Your team will build robust, scalable solutions that maintain high availability for Amazons most critical business operations. The ideal candidate brings strong technical leadership in distributed systems and workflow orchestration, with exceptional system design skills and a proven track record in engineering management.
