We are seeking an experienced Software Development Manager to lead our engineering operations in Bangalore, India, with a focus on hiring, managing, and developing top engineering talent to support our mission.

Responsibilities

• Lead Recruitment and Talent Acquisition: Drive the hiring process for engineering roles in Bangalore, developing strategies to attract and retain exceptional talent in a competitive market.
• Manage Engineering Teams: Oversee and mentor engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement while ensuring effective team structures.
• Hands-on Development: Work as part of Agile team developing and releasing roadmap requirements. You will have hands on experience of developing software using C# / .Net Core.
• Software Architectural Patterns: Lead the design and development of robust software solutions, ensuring alignment with architectural best practices and compliance standards.
• Oversee Onboarding: Manage the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring seamless integration into the team and alignment with Radancy s values and goals.
• Enhance Operational Efficiency: Implement and refine engineering processes and best practices to boost productivity, streamline workflows, and ensure teams have the tools and resources they need.
• Collaborate Globally: Work closely with distributed teams, including Product, Engineering, and Operations, to align engineering efforts with company objectives and facilitate cross-team communication.
• Report and Communicate: Provide regular updates to senior management on team performance, operational status, and key milestones, while adapting to global time zones as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience in a technical environment).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering management or operations, ideally within a software development setting.
• Proven expertise in C#/.Net Core, MVC, SQL Server, MongoDB.
• Proven expertise in software architecture and design patterns
• Proven track record of hiring and managing engineering teams, with success in building high-performing, collaborative groups.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile) and experience implementing operational best practices.
• Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate, mentor, retain, and develop team members.
• Experience and flexibility to work with distributed teams across diverse cultures and time zones.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a knack for managing multiple priorities under pressure.
• Flexibility to adapt to varying work schedules, including potential coordination with global teams in regions like Europe and North America.

Work Location and Interview Process

• Hybrid Work Model: This is a hybrid position, requiring you to work in the Bengaluru office 3 times per week.
• Interview Process: As part of the interview process, candidates will be required to complete and pass a technical coding assessment to demonstrate proficiency in key development skills.
