Job summary

Fox Corporation is seeking a skilled SDE (L2)/Senior Engineer (WebApps) for its Digital Product Engineering WebApps team. The role focuses on modern web development with TypeScript, React.js, and Next.js to deliver scalable, high-performance frontends for millions of users worldwide.

You will collaborate across product, design, backend, and QA to implement features, drive performance, and ensure accessible, maintainable architectures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–7 years of professional experience in modern web application development.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and CSS3.
• Hands-on experience with React.js, Next.js, and modern frontend frameworks.
• Experience with component-based architecture, state management, and responsive design.
• Experience with Git, code review processes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong communication skills in an Agile environment.
• Experience with Server Side Rendering using Next.js or similar frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using TypeScript, React.js, and Next.js.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, UX Designers, Backend Engineers, and QA teams on new features.
• Develop reusable frontend components following engineering best practices.
• Ensure performance, accessibility, reliability of web applications.

As an SDE (L2) / Senior Engineer (WebApps), you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining modern web applications. You will contribute to technical initiatives, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and user‑centric digital experiences.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop, and maintain modern, scalable web applications using TypeScript,, React.js, and Next.js.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, UX Designers, Backend Engineers, and QA teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
• Develop reusable, modular, and maintainable frontend components following engineering best practices.
• Ensure the performance, responsiveness, accessibility, and reliability of web applications.
• Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs, GraphQL services, and backend systems.
• Identify and resolve application bottlenecks, bugs, and production issues.
• Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to frontend design decisions.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Write clean, maintainable, well‑tested, and documented code.
• Continuously evaluate and adopt modern web technologies and development practices.
• Mentor junior engineers and actively contribute to knowledge sharing across the team.
• Collaborate closely with DevOps, QA, and Platform Engineering teams to ensure high‑quality product releases.
• Support production deployments and troubleshoot critical production issues when required.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
