Job summary

Fox Corporation is seeking a skilled SDE (L2) / Senior Engineer (WebApps) to join our Digital Product Engineering team. You will design, develop, and maintain modern, scalable web applications using TypeScript, React.js, and Next.js, delivering high-performance user experiences for millions worldwide.

You will collaborate across Product, UX, Backend, and QA to implement features, ensure accessibility, and optimize performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–7 years of professional experience in modern web application development.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, and CSS3.
• Hands-on experience with React.js, Next.js, and modern frontend frameworks.
• Strong understanding of component-based architecture, state management, and responsive design.
• Experience with Git, code review processes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Server Side Rendering using Next.js or similar frameworks.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop reusable, modular frontend components following engineering best practices.

About The Role

FOX Corporation is looking for a highly skilled and experienced SDE (L2) / Senior Engineer (WebApps) for its Digital Product Engineering WebApps team. The candidate should have a strong working knowledge of modern web application development, object-oriented programming principles, and frontend engineering best practices.

As an SDE (L2) / Senior Engineer (WebApps) , you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining modern web applications. You will contribute to technical initiatives, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and user-centrically digital experiences.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop, and maintain modern, scalable web applications using TypeScript,, React.js, and Next.js.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, UX Designers, Backend Engineers, and QA teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
• Develop reusable, modular, and maintainable frontend components following engineering best practices.
• Ensure the performance, responsiveness, accessibility, and reliability of web applications.
• Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs, GraphQL services, and backend systems.
• Identify and resolve application bottlenecks, bugs, and production issues.
• Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to frontend design decisions.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Write clean, maintainable, well-tested, and documented code.
• Continuously evaluate and adopt modern web technologies and development practices.
• Mentor junior engineers and actively contribute to knowledge sharing across the team.
• Collaborate closely with DevOps, QA, and Platform Engineering teams to ensure high-quality product releases.
• Support production deployments and troubleshoot critical production issues when required.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
