Karbon, the fintech innovator powering AI Accountant, seeks a Software Development Engineer IV to join the engineering team in Bengaluru. This role emphasizes strong Python skills, full-stack fundamentals, and adapting to Python-based systems across the stack.

You will design and build scalable services, collaborate with product and business stakeholders, and take ownership from design to deployment, leveraging AI-assisted development and modern tooling to deliver robust software at scale.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience in full-stack roles.
• Strong Python programming and production experience.
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and OO design.
• Ability to own features end-to-end from design to deployment.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack systems and APIs.
• Build high-performance applications primarily using Python.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Leverage modern coding tools and AI-assisted development agents to write efficient, clean, and maintainable code.
