Job summary

Infytrix Ecom is seeking a QA/SDET to design and execute test plans, perform both manual and automation testing, and ensure product quality across features in Mumbai. You will build automation suites with Playwright, Selenium, and Cypress, evaluate AI-powered components, and collaborate in sprint planning for releases.

The role emphasizes edge-case exploration, robust debugging, and continuous QA process improvements.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in Software Testing / SDET.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
• Experience in both Manual and Automation Testing.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or similar tools.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to design comprehensive test scenarios.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and maintain comprehensive test cases for new features and enhancements.
• Perform Functional, Regression, Exploratory, White-box, and Black-box testing.
• Analyze requirements and identify edge cases, missing scenarios, risks.
• Validate end-to-end user journeys across the platform.
• Verify bug fixes and perform impact analysis before releases.
• Conduct manual testing in staging and post-deployment environments.
• Provide final QA sign-off and production readiness.
• Build and maintain automation test suites using Playwright, Selenium, Cypress.
• Automate regression, smoke, and critical business workflows.
• Validate backend logic, APIs, databases, scheduled jobs, deployments.
• Analyze logs and collaborate with developers for root cause analysis.
• Test AI-powered features for accuracy, relevance, safety, UX.
• Evaluate prompts, multi-turn conversations, guardrails, prompts.
• Create AI eval scenarios to detect regressions.
• Participate in sprint planning, feature discussions, release planning.
• Drive continuous improvements in QA processes, automation, and product quality.

Must-Have Skills

• 2-4 years of experience in Software Testing / SDET.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
• Experience in both Manual and Automation Testing.

• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to design comprehensive test scenarios.

Good-to-Have Skills

• API Testing using Postman, Swagger, or similar tools.
• SQL for database validation.
• Basic programming knowledge in JavaScript, Python, or Go (Golang).
• Exposure to React or Node.js applications.
• Familiarity with Docker, Linux, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of LLMs, Prompt Engineering, AI Testing, AI Evals, and Guardrail Testing.
• Experience with log analysis and production issue investigation.
• Prior experience working on E-commerce products.
