Job summary

ProxSoft Technologies LLC in Mumbai is seeking a strong, full-time Software Development Engineer to build and run our products with our product lead, focusing on ERP atop existing systems. You will own the code from the first commit to the fix in production and deliver automation that improves accounts payable workflows.

You will work on integrations with ERP and construction software via their APIs, add features across industries, and contribute AI features with production-grade code.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of full-time software development experience.
• Demonstrable code quality and maintainability.
• Experience with REST APIs and databases.
• Ability to communicate trade-offs clearly early.

Responsibilities

• Develop accounts payable automation that reads vendor invoices and matches records in a customer’s ERP.
• Create integrations with cloud ERP and construction software via their APIs.
• Develop new features and product lines for other industries starting from proofs of concept with real customer data.
• Build AI features and the well-tested code around them; production readiness matters.
• Implement quick, careful fixes when something breaks in production.

Proxsoft builds software for construction and finance teams, connects the systems they already run,
and trains them to use AI well. Our products sit on top of the ERP a company already has.
Instead of asking a business to replace its ERP, a project that can take one to two years, we add a working layer on top of it quickly.

We are hiring a strong, full-time Software Development Engineer to build and run our products with our product lead. The product lead researches the market, defines the features and sets the direction. You turn that direction into reliable, production-grade software, and you own the code from the first commit to the fix in production.

This is a full-time role, not an internship

What you will build:

• Accounts payable automation that reads incoming vendor invoices and matches them to the right records in a customer's ERP, even when the invoice or purchase order number is missing, using the vendor, amount, description and project details.
• Integrations with cloud ERP and construction software through their APIs, so our products work inside the systems customers already use.
• New features and new product lines for industries beyond construction, such as manufacturing and retail, starting from proofs of concept with real customer data.
• AI features, and the plain, well-tested code around them. Both matter here.
• Quick, careful fixes when something breaks in production, so customers keep moving

Requirements

• 1 to 3 years of full-time software development experience, with projects you can show and explain.
• Strong coding fundamentals. You write code that does not break when the next person changes it.
• Working with REST APIs and databases: reading, matching and writing records reliably.
• Git and a pull-request workflow.
• Clear communication: you can explain a trade-off to a non-developer and ask good questions early.

Nice to have

• Experience with ERP, accounting or accounts payable software, or with invoice and document processing.
• Experience building features with large language models.
• Experience in a small, fast-moving team where you owned a feature end to end
