Location: Gurgaon
Experience: 0–2 years

QuickReply.ai is a cutting-edge WhatsApp Marketing Automation platform built for e-commerce businesses. In just 18 months, we’ve onboarded 700+ global customers and achieved 15x revenue growth. As businesses rapidly shift from email and SMS to WhatsApp, we are building a category-defining product in this space.
Founded by IIT Delhi alumni, we raised seed funding in April 2023 and are now scaling our team.
We help brands automate customer journeys across the buyer lifecycle — lead capture, abandoned cart recovery, customer support, order updates, retention, upsell, feedback, and more.
Our platform works closely with systems like Shopify, CRMs, ERPs, payment gateways, logistics tools, custom backends, and WhatsApp Business APIs. As customers grow, their workflows become more complex. This is where our Solutioning & Integration team comes in.
We are looking for a Software Development Engineer (SDE) to join our Solutioning & Integration team.
This is a software engineering role focused on building technical solutions that connect QuickReply with customer systems and business workflows. You will work across APIs, webhooks, integrations, automation workflows, data transformation, technical debugging, and custom engineering solutions.
You will work closely with customers, CSMs, Product, and Engineering teams to understand technical requirements, design solutions, build integrations, troubleshoot issues, and take solutions from requirement to production.
It is an engineering role with significant exposure to real-world customer problems.
The right person should be comfortable reading API documentation, working with JSON and webhooks, writing scripts, debugging technical issues, understanding data flows, and building pragmatic solutions quickly.
You will act as the engineering layer between customer requirements and working technical solutions, while also contributing learnings back to the product team.
You will work with customers and internal CSMs to understand how their business works and translate business requirements into technical flows.
Examples:
Your job is to convert these business flows into clear, scalable technical flows.
You will help design end-to-end automation journeys using QuickReply.
Examples:
You should be able to think through edge cases, fallbacks, customer replies, data requirements, and handover logic.
A major part of this role will involve building and configuring integrations between QuickReply and customer systems.
You may work with:
You should be able to read API documentation, understand request/response formats, test APIs, map payloads, and coordinate with customer technical teams.
You will investigate and resolve technical issues across integrations and automation workflows.
Examples:
You should be comfortable using logs, payloads, Postman, browser tools, and internal dashboards to identify root causes and implement fixes.
Sometimes a customer may need something small but important that is not yet available directly on the platform.
You may build:
This is not about building large products from scratch. It is about solving technical problems quickly, cleanly, and reliably.
You will be responsible for making sure customers go live smoothly from a technical perspective.
This includes:
Success in this role means customers go live faster, with fewer technical escalations and better automation outcomes.
Because you will work closely with real customer workflows, you will identify repeated technical gaps and opportunities.
You should actively share:
You will bring these learnings back to the Product and Engineering teams to help improve the platform.
Someone who enjoys building, debugging, testing, and shipping technical solutions rather than simply coordinating them.
Someone who can take a problem from understanding the requirement → designing the solution → writing code → testing → debugging → deploying.
A developer who actively leverages AI tools to accelerate coding, debugging, documentation, research, and solutioning while maintaining engineering quality and ownership.
Someone who takes responsibility for solving problems end-to-end instead of waiting for detailed instructions.
Real customer problems rarely come with perfectly defined requirements. You should be comfortable figuring things out, asking the right questions, and creating practical solutions.
You should enjoy learning new APIs, systems, technologies, tools, and business workflows quickly.
While this is an engineering role, you will work directly with customers. You should be able to understand their problems, communicate clearly, and translate their requirements into technical solutions.
As a Software Development Engineer in the Solutioning & Integration team, you will work on problems that sit at the intersection of:
You will not be limited to writing code against predefined requirements.
You will have the opportunity to:
If you enjoy building things, solving ambiguous technical problems, and working close to the real-world use of software, this role is for you.
