Job summary

NTT DATA, Inc. is seeking a Senior Developer to analyze business and technical designs, lead the technical team from build phase through project transition, and deliver robust software using PowerBuilder, C#, and SQL.

The role includes guidance, documentation, testing, and ensuring compliance with security standards. The candidate should have 5+ years in IT software development, familiarity with Java, MQs, Git, and DevOps pipelines, and a strong communication skill set.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in IT software development.
• Proven experience with PowerBuilder, and familiarity with Java or C#.
• Experience with database management and SQL.
• Knowledge of MQs and connectivity methods; Mainframe access awareness.
• Domain knowledge in Banking, Payments & Cards preferred.
• Excellent communication skills; able to work in a fast-paced agile environment.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Experience with DevOps and creating/maintaining pipelines.
• 4-year college degree in Engineering preferred.

Job description

As a Senior developer, resource willanalyse business and technical designs/processes and lead the technical team from build phase till transition the project. Using current programming language and technologies, he will write code, complete programming and perform testing and debugging of applications. He will complete documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance and training to technical team
• Analyse the technical solution and guide technical team to complete project in timely manner
• Writes efficient, re- usable, optimal, and well documented code.
• Design, code, test, debug and document software according to organizations systems standards, policies and procedures, security and compliance requirements.
• Debugging critical problems and resolving complex technical issues that may arise
• Participate in client/external interactions on technical matters
• Drive engineering processes for the project such as build automation, unit testing, software configuration management and packaging
• Provide technology expertise in at least one technology area

Requirements

Mandatory – Power Builder, C#, SQL

• 5+ year experience in IT industry in software development area
• Technical Skill: Proven experience with PowerBuilder,Familiarity with other programming languages such as Java or C#. Experience in database management and SQL.
• Knowledge of MQs and connectivity method, how Mainframe is accessed
• Domain knowledge – Banking domain and Payments & Cards knowledge preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• Previous experience in system integration projects.
