ABC Fitness is hiring a React front-end developer to design, build, and maintain web experiences for fitness entrepreneurs. You’ll collaborate with designers, product managers, and QA to deliver high-quality UI components and features.

The role emphasizes a data-driven approach, continuous learning, and ownership of front-end slices within a cross-functional, customer-focused team. Hybrid work model and opportunities for growth are highlighted.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or relevant field preferred
• 2+ years of experience with JavaScript/TypeScript
• 2+ years of front-end experience with React
• Understanding of React fundamentals and component-driven UI
• Knowledge of modern quality and testing principles
• Willingness to learn new technologies and systems
• Basic knowledge of version control tools

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and document front-end features for XLerate web experiences using React
• Implement UI flows that support automations and related workflows
• Collaborate with developers and QA to design, develop, test and release features
• Maintain code quality and participate in reviews
• Be involved in data-driven decision making and retrospectives
• Work with cross-functional team to transform ideas into user-centric experiences
• Apply Agile & Lean methods with DevOps and CI/CD

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, develop, test, and document front-end features for XLerate web experiences using React
• Implement UI flows that support automations, communications, and related Connect product workflows for fitness entrepreneurs
• Collaborate with developers and QA Engineers to design, develop, test and release new features
• Maintain code quality and participate in reviews; grow ownership of front-end slices over time
• Be involved in a data-driven decision-making process and continuous improvement through retrospectives
• Work with an energized, fun, friendly and customer-focused cross-functional team
• Collaborate with designers, developers, product managers, and testers to transform ideas into unique, human experiences for fitness entrepreneurs
• Use cutting edge Agile & Lean ways of working underpinned by DevOps and CI/CD

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or relevant field exp. preferred
• 2+ years of experience with JavaScript/TypeScript
• 2+ years of experience with front end (using React), working on web applications
• Understanding of React fundamentals and component-driven UI
• Knowledge of modern Quality and Testing principles
• Comfortable learning new technologies and systems
• Basic knowledge of code versioning tools - we have workflows in place, and you don’t need to be an expert, just open to learning

AND IT’S GREAT TO HAVE:

• Strong TypeScript experience
• Experience with design systems or component libraries
• React Native understanding
• Experience with Angular
• Knowledge of tooling around continuous deployment
• Working knowledge of MongoDB
• Exposure to AWS or similar cloud platforms
• Interest in CRM or data-intensive product domains
