Job summary

T-Systems ICT India Pvt. Ltd. is hiring a Senior Backend Software Engineer to lead backend service design and delivery. You will guide technical decisions, ensure reliability, and drive security improvements while mentoring teammates.

Role requires 9–12 years of backend experience with Scala/Akka/Java, distributed systems expertise, and strong debugging skills. On-site in Maharashtra, India, with exposure to modern CI/CD and cloud tooling.

Qualifications

• 9–12 years of hands-on backend development experience.
• Proficiency in Scala, Akka, and Java.
• Strong functional programming experience.
• Experience with distributed systems and production support.
• Familiar with security fixes CVE remediation and dependency upgrades.
• Experience with code reviews and mentoring.
• Ability to design backend services and lead technical decisions.
• Experience with AWS EKS, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Backend Software Engineer who can be hands on implementing things but also can provide technical leadership and decisions making locally

Key Responsibilities
