Job summary

ADCI HYD 13 SEZ in Hyderabad is hiring a software developer to join the Delivery Experience (DEX) team at Amazon. You will contribute to scalable, reliable systems and help deliver customer-facing delivery features across platforms.

You will participate in the full software development life cycle, write clean code, perform reviews, and collaborate with product managers and other engineers to meet technical and business goals, with a strong emphasis on quality and performance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling).
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable, reliable, and high-performance systems for large data/traffic in real time.
• Participate in the full software development life cycle, including writing clean, maintainable, documented code and conducting code reviews.
• Collaborate with product managers, program managers, and other engineering teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex issues across multiple systems and services with cross-team collaboration.

Key job responsibilities

• Our mission is to provide consistent, accurate, and relevant delivery information to every single page on every Amazon-owned site, which means millions of customers WW will be impacted by your contributions,


• The changes we make directly impact the customer experience on Amazon websites on numerous platforms (mobile/tablets, desktop, set-top boxes, etc.),


• This is a highly visible and very critical role, owning multiple tier 1 services,


• We are setting up a new team in the Hyderabad Development Center and you have the opportunity of being a founding member of the team.

A day in the life

• Develop scalable, reliable, and high-performance systems that can handle large volumes of data and traffic in real-time,


• Participate in the full software development life cycle, including writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, conducting code reviews, deploying production-ready software to Amazon's infrastructure and supporting the software in production,


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, program managers, and other engineering teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet technical and business requirements,


• Troubleshoot and debug complex issues across multiple systems and services, collaborating with other teams as needed.

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience


• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience


• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience


• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
