Job summary

CIEL HR leads an opening for a senior Automotive Cybersecurity engineer to architect secure ECU software, integrate AUTOSAR security modules, and drive threat modeling and risk assessments. The role emphasizes secure boot, OTA updates, IDS, and cryptographic configurations across embedded platforms.

Ideal candidates bring 8+ years in automotive cybersecurity, strong C/C++, Python skills, and hands-on testing with Wireshark, Metasploit, CANoe, and Kali Linux.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer science, Electrical Engineering, Cybersecurity or related field.
• 8+ years of professional work experience in automotive cybersecurity software development.
• Strong programming skills in C, C++, Python, and Assembly for embedded security.
• Experience with AUTOSAR cybersecurity modules and HSM.
• Knowledge of cryptographic algorithms (AES, RSA, ECC) and key management.
• Expertise in Secure Boot, Secure Flashing, and Secure OTA Updates.
• Familiarity with CAN, CAN-FD, Ethernet, and automotive security protocols.
• Hands-on experience with penetration testing tools (Wireshark, Metasploit, CANoe, Kali Linux).
• Experience with TARA methodologies.
• Experience in ML & AI-based cybersecurity threat detection. Knowledge of SDV security.
• Hands-on experience with TEE and TPM.
• Familiarity with secure cloud connectivity for automotive IoT (AWS, Azure, MQTT, TLS/SSL).

• Cybersecurity Architecture & Design: Develop and implement secure software architectures for ECUs.
