Glatt Systems is seeking an automation engineer to design, program, and configure PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, and data acquisition systems for pharmaceutical equipment. You will develop automation logic, alarms, and interlocks while ensuring compliance with 21 CFR Part 11, Annex 11, and other regulatory standards.
The role involves delivering projects on time and within budget, troubleshooting during commissioning, and collaborating with hardware, process, mechanical, and quality teams to provide
Design, program, and configure PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, and data acquisition systems for pharmaceutical equipment.
Develop automation logic, recipes, alarms, and interlocks in compliance with process requirements and regulatory standards.
Ensure automation software complies with FDA 21 CFR Part 11, Annex 11, and other regulatory requirements.
Deliver projects within defined timelines, quality standards, and budget.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during commissioning and customer acceptance.
Work closely with hardware, process, mechanical, and quality teams to provide integrated automation solutions.
Contribute to development of standard software libraries and templates for organizational efficiency.
Coordinate with customer stakeholders during design reviews, FAT, and site installation.
Responsible to Support Vendor Development activities for Control elements/subsystems with an eye for Technological Obsolescence
Support the PMs during IFAT/CFAT point closure
Support the QA in closing the pre-IFAT points.
Close the GSRs timely and effectively
