Job summary

SIRI AB in India, Karnataka, seeks a highly skilled Software Architect to lead the architectural design and definition of next-generation ADAS software platforms. You will serve as the technical authority for the Vehicle Abstraction Layer (VAL) and integration of Adaptive AUTOSAR middleware.

The role focuses on defining a scalable, high-performance, safety-compliant software architecture that enables complex ADAS functions across diverse vehicle platforms and heterogeneous hardware environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Telecommunication, CS or EE (or related).
• 10–15 years in automotive software development/architecture.
• Proven software architecture experience for automotive embedded systems (ADAS, Adaptive AUTOSAR).
• Experience with SDV architectures, hardware-software co-design, and platform abstraction.
• Experience integrating CI/CD practices into embedded software lifecycles.
• Knowledge of ASPICE and automotive development processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design and definition of next-gen ADAS software platforms.

Job Description

This is for one of ourAutomotive clients in India, seeking a highly skilled Software Architect tolead the architectural design and definition of our next-generation ADASsoftware platforms.

The Software Architect willact as the technical authority for the Vehicle Abstraction Layer (VAL) and theintegration of Adaptive AUTOSAR middleware. The primary responsibility is todefine a scalable, high-performance, and safety-compliant software architecturethat enables complex ADAS functions to operate seamlessly across diversevehicle platforms and heterogeneous hardware environments.

Requirements

PreferredQualifications

• Experience designing software architecturesfor Software-Defined Vehicles (SDV).
• Experience with hypervisors, virtualisation,and containerization in automotive environments.
• Experience in hardware-software co-design andplatform abstraction.
• Experience integrating CI/CD practices intoembedded software development lifecycles.
• Experience with automotive developmentprocesses and standards such as ASPICE is desirable.
• Experience working with heterogeneouscomputing platforms, including CPU/GPU/accelerator-based architectures, isan advantage.

Education& Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics &Telecommunication, Computer Science & Engineering, ElectricalEngineering, or a related discipline.
• 10–15 years of relevant experience in theautomotive industry, preferably in automotive software development andarchitecture.
• Proven experience in software architecture forautomotive embedded systems, with significant hands-on experience in ADAS,Adaptive AUTOSAR, middleware, or vehicle platform development.
