Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is building a highly entrepreneurial team of Senior Software Engineers to work on AI‑generated SDV platforms across automotive domains including ADAS, infotainment, and cybersecurity.

You will design, develop and integrate embedded software for ECUs using Python, Rust, C/C++, AUTOSAR, RTOS and Linux‑based stacks, collaborating with global engineering centers and OEMs to deliver robust, secure software for software‑defined vehicles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics / Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems or equivalent.
• 2–6 years of automotive embedded software development experience.
• Hands‑on experience with embedded software development, simulation, debugging tools and integration environments.
• Experience working in cross-border teams with OEMs and GCCs is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and integrate embedded automotive software modules across domains (ADAS, powertrain, body electronics, infotainment).
• Implement software components compliant with AUTOSAR Classic / Adaptive or open‑source platforms.
• Configure and integrate AUTOSAR BSW modules, middleware and applications.
• Develop software for vehicle ECUs across multiple domains; perform unit/integration testing and debugging.
• Contribute to SDV architecture & platforms, middleware, and service‑oriented architectures.
• Support client delivery, workshops and solution design with OEM/GCC teams.
• Follow ISO 26262 functional safety and ASPICE processes; implement secure software lifecycle practices.

Job Description & Summary:

We are looking to build an entrepreneurial & innovative team of Senior Software Engineers for the AI-gen SDV world.

You will contribute to the design, development and integration of AI-based automotive software platforms across software‑defined vehicles, ADAS systems, infotainment and automotive cybersecurity solutions.

You will collaborate with the centers of competence and our global engineering teams to design & develop software deployed onto the AIDV mobility eco‑system.

Responsibilities:

• Automotive Software Development:
  • Design, develop and integrate embedded automotive software modules using Python, Rust, C/C++ and model‑based development tools
  • Implement software components compliant with AUTOSAR Classic / AUTOSAR Adaptive or open‑source platforms
  • Configure and integrate AUTOSAR Basic Software (BSW) modules, middleware, and application components
  • Develop software for vehicle ECUs across domains such as ADAS, powertrain, body electronics and infotainment
• System Integration & Validation:
  • Integrate software components with vehicle networks and ECUs
  • Perform unit testing, integration testing, and debugging to ensure reliability and compliance with system specifications
  • Analyze software performance and optimise resource utilisation (CPU, memory, latency)
  • Support vehicle‑level integration and bench testing
• SDV Architecture & Platforms:
  • Contribute to development of software platforms for software‑defined vehicles including middleware and service‑oriented architectures
  • Support implementation of centralised computing architectures and domain controllers
  • Work with vehicle operating systems, RTOS, Linux‑based platforms, or ROS‑based stacks
• Consulting & Client Delivery:
  • Work closely with OEM & GCC engineering teams to translate vehicle requirements into software architecture and implementations
  • Support technology assessments, solution design and prototype development
  • Participate in technical workshops and client delivery programmes
• Engineering Quality & Compliance:
  • Follow automotive development standards such as ISO 26262 functional safety & ASPICE processes
  • Implement secure software lifecycle practices
  • Participate in design reviews, code reviews and technical documentation

Mandatory Skill Sets:

• AUTOSAR Classic / Adaptive including security and diagnostics modules
• Android Automotive & Embedded Linux
• BSW & Security Software (CDD, SecOC , Bootloaders etc.) implementation & integration
• RTOS (QNX, FreeRTOS , Integrity)
• Virtualisation & xIL based development & validation
• Automotive protocols & standards
• Experience on micro‑controllers & SoCs for embedded applications

Preferred Skill Sets:

• Ability to work in global engineering teams across OEM and GCCs
• Strong problem‑solving and debugging capability
• Ability to translate complex vehicle system requirements into software implementations
• Experience working in agile development environments

Years of Experience Required:

• 2–6 years of experience in automotive embedded software development
• Hands‑on experience with embedded software development, simulation, debugging tools and integration environments

Education Qualification:
