Qualifications

• 1-4 years proven experience editing short-form content for top creators, with a portfolio of Instagram Reels.
• Experience with AI-native video tools like MidJourney, Veo3, RunwayML, 11Labs, Heygen, and similar platforms.
• Strong knowledge of short-form video workflows, including fast-paced editing, transitions, effects, and sound design.

What You'll Do

• Video Editing: Edit raw footage into highly engaging, AI-enhanced short-form content optimized for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and other social media platforms.
• Thumb-Stopping Hooks & Retention: Focus on crafting eye-catching hooks in the first few seconds to maximize viewer retention throughout the video. Ensure pacing and structure keep viewers engaged from start to finish.
• Storytelling: Maintain a deep focus on creating quick, compelling narratives that engage viewers instantly, making each video both captivating and shareable.
• AI Integration: Leverage tools like MidJourney, Veo3, RunwayML, 11Labs, Heygen, and other cutting-edge AI platforms to enhance visuals, integrate dynamic elements (e.g., text-to-image, image-to-video), and experiment with new content formats.
• Trends and Optimization: Stay updated with short-form video trends, platform-specific algorithms, and audience behaviors to optimize content for peak performance.
• Collaboration: Work closely with creative leads, content managers, and team members to ensure alignment with branding and content strategy.
• Fast Turnaround: Manage multiple video projects with quick turnarounds while maintaining high quality, accuracy, and attention to detail.

What We're Looking For

• 1-4 years proven experience editing short-form content for top creators, with a portfolio of Instagram Reels.
• Experience with AI-native video tools like MidJourney (text-to-image), Veo3 (AI video editing), RunwayML (AI-driven motion graphics and video edits), 11Labs (AI-powered voice synthesis), Heygen (AI avatars), and similar platforms.
• Strong knowledge of short-form video workflows, including fast-paced editing, transitions, effects, and sound design to keep viewers engaged.
• Expertise in creating visually engaging content while adhering to social media platform guidelines (e.g., optimal video resolution, aspect ratios, and file sizes).
• Excellent storytelling skills and an eye for what works on social media platforms.
• Ability to edit videos with limited guidance, taking creative direction and running with it.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a remote, fast-paced team environment.
