Role Description

The Social Media Manager will manage and grow Blakrot’s presence across key social media platforms, aligning content and campaigns with the company’s open infrastructure philosophy. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and executing social media strategies, creating and scheduling posts, optimizing content for engagement, monitoring analytics, and responding to community interactions in a professional and informative manner. The role also involves collaborating with technical and sales teams to translate complex concepts into clear, compelling narratives, and supporting broader marketing efforts with social media insights and content. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Mysore, with the flexibility to work from home part of the time while attending on-site meetings and collaborating in person as needed.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO) for managing multi-platform campaigns and audience engagement.


• Candidates should possess skills in Content Strategy and Writing to plan, create, and refine clear, engaging, and technically accurate social media content.


• Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and interact with online communities in a professional manner.


• Candidates should ideally have experience with analytics tools, basic graphic or video editing, and understanding of B2B or technology-focused marketing.


• Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, are preferred.


• Ability to work in a hybrid setup from Mysore, manage multiple projects, and adapt quickly to evolving priorities and platforms is essential.
