Job summary

co_LAB Design Studio in Mumbai is seeking a hands-on Content Creator and Social Media Executive to translate architectural design and site activity into engaging digital stories.

You will personally conceptualise, script, shoot, edit and publish content from active construction sites, visiting Goregaon West daily and liaising with founders, architects and artisans to build premium visual narratives across Instagram and LinkedIn.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to shoot and edit mobile video content.
• Strong storytelling and short-form content skills.
• Experience with Canva and video editing software.
• Willingness to visit construction sites and travel in Mumbai.
• Based in Mumbai and available for full-time work from studio.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualise, shoot and edit Reels and short-form videos
• Create project walkthroughs, behind-the-scenes videos and site-progress content
• Film founders, architects, designers, vendors and artisans
• Direct talking-head and founder-led content
• Capture materials, construction details and design processes
• Add text, music, transitions, subtitles and basic motion graphics
• Maintain high visual quality consistent with a premium design studio
• Develop weekly and monthly content calendars
• Generate content ideas independently
• Write scripts, hooks, captions and story copy
• Repurpose drawings, renders and photos across platforms
• Publish content across Instagram and LinkedIn
• Assist in developing Pinterest presence
• Monitor reach, watch time and enquiries
• Prepare basic monthly performance reports
• Identify successful formats and recommend improvements
• Support basic Meta Ads campaigns
• Improve quality of enquiries besides follower count

co_LAB Design Studio is an architecture, interior-design and turnkey-execution practice based in Mumbai. We work on thoughtfully designed residential and commercial spaces, managing projects from concept development through site execution and completion.

We are looking for a hands‑on Content Creator and Social Media Executive who can translate our designs, processes, construction work and project stories into engaging digital content.

About the role

This is an execution‑focused position—not a strategy‑only or coordination role.

The selected candidate will personally conceptualise, script, shoot, edit, design, publish and monitor content. The role involves regular visits to active construction sites and close interaction with the founders, architects, designers, contractors, vendors and artisans.

Key responsibilities

Content production

• Conceptualise, shoot and edit Reels and short‑form videos
• Create project walkthroughs, behind‑the‑scenes videos and site‑progress content
• Film founders, architects, designers, vendors and artisans
• Direct talking‑head and founder‑led content
• Capture materials, construction details and design processes
• Add text, music, transitions, subtitles and basic motion graphics
• Maintain high visual quality consistent with a premium design studio

Content strategy and copywriting

• Develop weekly and monthly content calendars
• Generate content ideas independently
• Write scripts, hooks, captions, CTAs and story copy
• Convert technical design information into clear, engaging content
• Develop content that builds authority and attracts premium homeowners
• Balance educational, aspirational, project‑based and behind‑the‑scenes content

Graphic and platform content

• Create carousels, stories, static posts, thumbnails and basic presentation graphics
• Repurpose drawings, layouts, renders, 3Ds, photographs and archived footage
• Manage and publish content across Instagram and LinkedIn
• Assist in developing co_LAB’s Pinterest presence
• Maintain visual consistency across digital platforms

Performance and lead generation

• Monitor reach, watch time, retention, saves, shares, profile visits and enquiries
• Prepare basic monthly performance reports
• Identify successful formats and recommend improvements
• Support basic Meta Ads campaigns, targeting and retargeting
• Help improve the quality of enquiries, not only follower count or reach

Essential skills

• Strong mobile videography and video‑editing ability
• Ability to personally handle content from concept to publication
• Good understanding of storytelling and short‑form content
• Strong visual sensibility suitable for architecture and premium interiors
• Working knowledge of Canva and editing software such as Premiere Pro, CapCut or VN
• Basic graphic‑design and motion‑graphics ability
• Understanding of Instagram content and analytics
• Clear written and verbal communication
• Ability to manage schedules and deliver content consistently
• Willingness to learn technical architecture and interior‑design terminology

Candidate requirements

• Currently based in Mumbai
• Comfortable travelling daily to Goregaon West
• Comfortable with a full‑time, work‑from‑studio position
• Available for regular project and construction‑site visits
• Comfortable working at active, unfinished and dusty sites
• Willing to attend occasional early‑morning, extended or outstation shoots
• Owns an iPhone/good camera phone and an editing laptop
• Able to commit fully to the position without conflicting freelance work
• Reliable, organised, proactive and receptive to feedback.
