Social-First Motion Designer (Freelance)

The Role

We’re looking for a motion designer eho who can make product stories feel effortless and exciting the kind of content you’d stop scrolling for.

One minute you’ll be dreaming up a new format to explain a feature drop; the next, you’ll be storyboarding a punchy Vox-pop, animating an app walkthrough, or cutting a fifteen-second ad that nails our brand voice without saying too much.

You’ll work closely with our brand and product teams to turn screens, scripts, and ideas into social-first films that feel fresh, human, and distinctly us.

What You’ll Do

• Concept, design, and animate short-form content optimised for social — Reels, Shorts, and paid campaigns.
• Translate product flows and UX screens into clean, confident motion.
• Create templates and systems so we can scale great design without losing quality.
• Keep our motion language evolving — always watching what’s next in animation and culture.
• We have guidelines in place already so you won’t be starting from scratch.
• Have experience in motion or digital design. Agency, tech, or startup background a plus, but you might also just have an excellent personal channel.
• Love using the latest creation and editing tools and comfortable working from Figma files.
• Know how to pace, crop, and cut for vertical video — and when to break the rules.
• Can simplify app features into visuals that actually land.
• Love good typography, timing, and storytelling in equal measure.

Bonus Points

• Experience with 3D or generative motion.
• Interest in tech, design, and culture-driven storytelling.
• A feel for sound design.
