Job summary

HCLTech is looking for a Snowflake Developer to design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and modern cloud-based analytics solutions. The role focuses on Snowflake Cloud Data Platform, dbt, and SQL to deliver robust data models and performant queries.

You will work with data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to implement ELT processes, enforce data governance, and ensure security and compliance across pipelines.

Qualifications

• Snowflake Developer with expertise in Snowflake Cloud Data Platform, dbt, and SQL.
• Hands-on experience in data modeling, transformation, ETL/ELT development, and performance tuning.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data solutions using Snowflake Cloud Data Platform.
• Build and manage data transformation pipelines using dbt.
• Develop complex SQL queries, views, stored procedures, and data models.
• Implement ELT processes to ingest and transform data from multiple sources.
• Create and maintain dimensional and star-schema data models for reporting and analytics.
• Optimize Snowflake performance, warehouse sizing, clustering, and query execution.
• Develop reusable dbt models, macros, tests, and documentation.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers, Data Analysts, and Business stakeholders to gather data requirements.
• Implement data quality checks, validation frameworks, and monitoring processes.
• Support CI/CD deployment processes for dbt and Snowflake objects.
• Ensure adherence to data governance, security, and compliance standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline and performance-related issues.
