Job summary

DXC Technology India Pvt Ltd is seeking a Snowflake Data Engineer 2 to design, develop, and maintain data pipelines on Snowflake and AWS, delivering scalable data solutions for complex business needs.

You will build ETL/ELT processes, optimize Snowflake models for performance and cost, implement CI/CD and IaC, and collaborate with architects and stakeholders to drive data governance and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake and AWS technologies.
• Proficient in SQL and data modelling for data warehouses/data lakes.
• Experience with Spark/PySpark for large-scale data processing.
• Hands-on DevOps experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and IaC tools.
• Familiarity with dbt, Apache Airflow, and cloud data architectures.
• Certifications in Snowflake, AWS, or related platforms are a plus.

Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Snowflake and AWS . Build ETL/ELT solutions for data ingestion, transformation, and integration. Develop and optimise Snowflake data models, performance, and cost efficiency. Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation. Manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices. Ensure data security, governance, monitoring, and operational excellence. Collaborate with architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable data solutions.

Required Skills 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering. Strong hands-on experience with: Snowflake AWS (S3, Glue, Lambda, IAM, Redshift) SQL & Data Modelling Spark / PySpark dbt Apache Airflow Hands-on DevOps experience with: Git Jenkins / GitHub Actions / Azure DevOps Terraform CI/CD Pipelines Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Monitoring & Automation Strong understanding of Data Warehousing, Data Lakes, and Cloud Data Architecture.

Preferred Skills SnowPro Certification. AWS Certification. Experience with Kafka, Databricks, and Data Governance frameworks.
