HTC Global Services is seeking an AWS Snowflake Developer with 2+ years of cloud data engineering experience. You will design, build, and optimize data pipelines using Snowflake and AWS services, ensuring scalable ingestion, transformation, and governance aligned with enterprise analytics needs.

Collaboration with data architects and business teams is essential to deliver reliable data solutions, while maintaining quality and security standards across the data ecosystem.

About The Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated AWS Snowflake Developer with 2 years of experience in cloud-based data engineering and analytics solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience in building, optimizing, and supporting data pipelines using AWS services and Snowflake Data Cloud. The role involves working closely with data architects, business analysts, and application teams to design and implement scalable data solutions that support enterprise reporting and analytics initiatives.

Requirements

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using AWS and Snowflake.
• Build and optimize data ingestion frameworks from multiple source systems into Snowflake.
• Develop and support data transformation processes using Snowflake SQL, Stored Procedures, Tasks, Streams, and Snowpipe.
• Create and manage database objects such as tables, views, stages, schemas, and warehouses in Snowflake.
• Implement data integration solutions using AWS services such as S3, Lambda, Glue, Athena, Step Functions, and EventBridge.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data loads, queries, and overall Snowflake performance.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Ensure data quality, governance, security, and compliance standards are followed.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, deployments, and production support activities.
• Document technical designs, processes, and operational procedures.

Required Skills

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, or Cloud Data Platforms.
• Hands‑on experience with Snowflake Data Warehouse.
• Strong SQL development and query optimization skills.

Experience With AWS Services

• S3
• Glue

• IAM

• Step Functions (preferred)
• Knowledge of ETL/ELT development and data integration concepts.
• Experience with data loading techniques including Snowpipe and bulk loading.
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts such as Star Schema and Dimensional Modeling.
• Familiarity with Git‑based version control.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Programming Skills

• Proficiency in Python for data processing and automation.
• Basic understanding of Shell Scripting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
• Experience with Airflow or other workflow orchestration tools.
• Knowledge of data governance and security best practices.
• Snowflake SnowPro certification and/or AWS Cloud certification is a plus.
• Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or other BI reporting tools.
