Seventh Contact Hiring Solutions is seeking an experienced Data Engineer/Architect to design AWS-based Lakehouse and Data Warehouse solutions, leveraging S3, Glue, EMR, Redshift, and Snowflake. You will build multi-layer data lakes using Delta Lake and Iceberg, and optimize end-to-end data pipelines with DMS, Kafka, and Airflow.
The role requires 7–12 years in data engineering with 4+ years in Snowflake, strong SQL/Python/PySpark, and hands-on AWS experience.
Design and deliver AWS-based Lakehouse and Data Warehouse solutions using S3, Glue, EMR, Redshift, and Snowflake.
Build Bronze/Silver/Gold data lake architectures using Delta Lake and Apache Iceberg.
Develop and optimize batch, CDC, and real-time data pipelines using AWS DMS, Glue, Kafka, dbt, and Airflow/Step Functions.
Design Data Vault 2.0, dimensional, and semantic data models for enterprise analytics.
Implement data governance, data quality, lineage, MDM, and regulatory compliance frameworks.
Lead architecture workshops, create solution documentation, and present to senior/C-level stakeholders.
Mentor and guide 46 data engineers across project delivery.
Manage stakeholders, timelines, quality, and delivery for long-term engagements.
7 to 12 years in Data Engineering/Architecture with 4+ years of Snowflake.
Strong hands-on experience with AWS data services.
Experience delivering large-scale data platforms and integrations.
Strong in SQL, Python/PySpark, and Data Modelling.
Experience with dbt, Airflow, or similar orchestration tools.
Knowledge of data governance, quality, and metadata management.
Strong architecture documentation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
Good to have: BFSI/regulatory, AI/ML, Snowflake/AWS certifications, BI tools, DevSecOps, and data migration experience.
