Job summary

The ideal candidate will lead data architecture initiatives, develop scalable data solutions, ensure data security and governance, and collaborate with stakeholders to enable analytics and data-driven decisions.

The role involves migration projects from traditional warehouses to Snowflake, optimizing performance, and staying updated with cloud

Qualifications

• Experience designing enterprise-scale Snowflake data architectures.
• Strong knowledge of data governance, security, RBAC and compliance.
• Ability to migrate traditional warehouses to Snowflake with minimal disruption.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end data warehouse and data lakehouse solutions on Snowflake.
• Develop scalable data models, schemas, and ETL/ELT frameworks.
• Implement data integration using Informatica, Matillion, Fivetran, Airflow or ADF.
• Manage Snowflake objects: databases, schemas, tables, views, stages, tasks, streams, warehouses.
• Optimize query performance, sizing, clustering, partitioning and cost management.
• Enforce data governance, security and compliance standards.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Snowflake Architect to design, implement, and optimize enterprise-scale cloud data platforms using Snowflake. The ideal candidate will lead data architecture initiatives, develop scalable data solutions, ensure data security and governance, and collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to enable analytics, reporting, and advanced data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect end-to-end data warehouse and data lakehouse solutions on Snowflake.
• Develop scalable, high-performance data models, schemas, and ETL/ELT frameworks.
• Implement data integration solutions using tools such as Informatica, Matillion, Fivetran, Airflow, or Azure Data Factory.
• Design and manage Snowflake objects including databases, schemas, tables, views, stages, tasks,streams, and warehouses.
• Optimize query performance, warehouse sizing, clustering, partitioning, and cost management.
• Define and enforce data governance, security, data masking, role-based access control (RBAC), and compliance standards.
• Work with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Lead migration projects from traditional data warehouses (Teradata, Oracle, SQL Server, Redshift,etc.) to Snowflake.
• Support data engineering teams with best practices, architecture standards, and code reviews.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for Snowflake deployments.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and recommend improvements.
• Stay updated with Snowflake features and emerging cloud technologies.
