Job summary

Continental Device India (CDIL) in Chandigarh seeks a qualified SMT Process Engineer to optimize pick-and-place operations, troubleshoot machines, and drive improvements in yield and cycle times.

The role requires hands-on SMT equipment experience including Philips Topz-x, Assembleon Emerald-X, Yamaha YV100X and related tools, plus knowledge of AOI, SPI and paste printers.

Qualifications

• B. Tech./Diploma in ECE or equivalent.
• Hands-on SMT equipment experience.
• Knowledge of AOI, SPI, and paste printers.

Responsibilities

• Experience in SMT Pick and Place Machine programming and troubleshooting (a) Philips- Topz-x ; Assembleon - Emerald-X, Opel Xii, Sapphire;
• (b) Yamaha - YV100X, YV100Xg, YV100II
• Knowledge of Automated Optical Inspection, SPI and Paste Printers
• Review Material,Equipment and Manpower as per production plans
• Develop and implement advanced processes and SMT methodologies
• Perform defect and failure analyses for Surface Mount Technology
• Implementation of QC tools,TPM, Kaizens and 5S
• Lead improvements in process yield, quality, cycle time, inventory accuracy and delivery
• Providing technical support and trainings on 5'S, Kaizens, EHS
