Job summary

Meenaatchi Corp (opc) in India seeks an experienced SMT Process Engineer to design and program SMT lines, including Yamaha equipment, for new model launches and DCN/TWN updates.

The role involves process flow design, time studies, PFMEA, and process control charts for high-volume production, aligned with customer drawings and BOMs.

Qualifications

• Experience in SMT process design for PCB manufacturing.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings and BOMs.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Create programs for SMT AOI and mounting processes on Yamaha machines during new model launches and when DCN or TWN is applied.
• Handle process design activities such as process flow, time study, PFMEA and process control charts for new models during development and high-volume production.
• Understand customer requirements and drawings and implement them in SMT process design.
• Handle regular and breakdown maintenance of SMT lines.
• Handle Yamaha machines in the SMT line and check machine conditions for new models.
• Handle SMT line capacity for new and existing models.
• Implement Kaizens to improve quality and cycle time.
• Improve line efficiency and productivity.
