Responsibilities include carrying out hydrological studies, utilizing various modeling software, and supporting project teams. This position requires on-site work with potential travel within India or overseas.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in hydraulic modeling and data analysis.
• Familiarity with data manipulation tools such as Power BI and MS Access.
• Ability to write technical reports and communicate with clients.

Job description

• Understanding of hydraulic modeling, run-off models and hydraulics, hydrological
  studies,conceptual, analytical and numerical models and data analysis
• Knowledge of hydraulic modeling software, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, Storm analysis, 1D and 2D hydraulic modeling, flood estimation and flood risk assessment
• Knowledge of data manipulation abilities (FME/POWERBI/MS Excel/MS Access database type packages)
• Knowledge of Optimisation Tools & Knowledge of Scripting: R, Python, SQL, advanced Excel
• Knowledge of GIS packages: QGIS, MapInfo, ArcGIS preferred and Drawing Support
• Technical report writing skills, Able to interface with clients and Capable to analyze, assess, evaluate the issues, complexity pertaining to projects / work packages and support the team lead in mitigating them in advance
• Capable of being proactive and working under pressure, both independently and as part of a team
