Job summary

M&G India is seeking a skilled professional to provide expert technical support for its finance applications from Pune. The role involves triaging incidents, coordinating with software vendors and infrastructure teams, and ensuring timely resolution to maintain service quality.

The candidate will own issues through resolution, contribute to root-cause analysis, and support ongoing system interfaces and upgrades to keep finance platforms performing optimally.

• Provide expert technical support for finance applications, ensuring incidents and service requests are triaged and progressed to meet SLAs.
• Investigate application and integration issues, perform initial diagnosis, gather evidence and coordinate resolution with software vendors, infrastructure teams and stakeholders.
• Maintain ownership of issues through to closure with timely updates, root-cause follow-up and verification of service restoration.
• Support problem management by identifying recurring issues and contributing to root-cause analysis.
• Assist with system integrations and interfaces connecting finance apps with upstream and downstream platforms.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide expert technical support for finance applications, ensuring incidents and service requests are triaged, prioritised and progressed in line with agreed service levels.
• Investigate application and integration issues, perform initial diagnosis, gather technical evidence and coordinate resolution with software vendors, infrastructure teams and business stakeholders.
• Maintain clear ownership of issues through to closure, including timely stakeholder updates, root-cause follow-up and verification that service has been restored.
• Support problem management by identifying recurring issues, contributing to root-cause analysis and tracking preventive actions.
• Actively support system integrations and interfaces connecting finance applications with upstream and downstream platforms.
• Monitor scheduled feeds, jobs and interfaces; identify failures, data exceptions or processing delays and coordinate recovery with relevant application teams.
• Work across internal technology teams and external vendors to resolve interface dependencies, connectivity issues and data-flow failures.
• Maintain operational knowledge of interface schedules, dependencies, support contacts, control points and recovery procedures.
• Act as a key technical contact for application vendors and business stakeholders during incident investigation and service improvement activity.
• Support application version upgrades, patches and technical lifecycle activities by coordinating impact assessment, readiness checks, implementation support and post-release validation.
