Job summary

M&G plc is seeking a finance systems analyst to join the Mumbai team and help manage financial systems integration and governance. This role focuses on system configuration, data mapping, and turning business needs into clear functional specifications.

You will work with Corporate Finance teams and IT to implement controls, perform SIT/UAT testing, track defects, and support reconciliations between systems and reporting outputs.

Responsibilities

• Support system configuration and data mapping activities
• Assist in translating business requirements into functional specifications
• Responsible for maintenance of certain finance system business rules and liaison with CFT, IT support for the Finance function
• Execute system testing (SIT / UAT) and track defects
• Support reconciliation between systems and reporting outputs
• Assist in documentation of system processes and controls
