Job summary

M&G India, the strategic innovation and digital hub for M&G, is seeking a senior finance systems lead to own end-to-end design for LC&FR, including ledgers, sub-ledgers, consolidation and reporting layers. You will drive automation, data quality and control in collaboration with Finance, Technology and external vendors.

The role demands strong ability to translate accounting and reporting requirements into scalable system solutions and to oversee implementation, testing, and defect resolution

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end finance systems design for LC&FR (e.g., ledger, sub‑ledger, consolidation, reporting layers)
• Responsible for maintenance of certain finance system business rules
• Translate accounting and reporting requirements into system solutions
• Lead system configuration design, data flows and integration requirements
• Oversee system implementation, testing strategy and defect resolution
• Drive improvements in automation, data quality and control environment
• Act as key liaison between Finance, Technology and external vendors
