Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical, Electrical, Process/Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, construction techniques, and materials.
• Proven experience as a Construction Project Engineer or similar role, with 5 years on-site preferred.
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (MS Project, CPA/scheduling tools).
• Excellent verbal and written communication for cross-functional stakeholder engagement.

• Monitor project scope, prevent scope creep, and track variations.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets; track progress for progress claims and payment.
• Develop and maintain project schedules using MS Project; generate CPA for schedule health.
• Employ schedule crashing and fast-tracking techniques to mitigate delays.
• Oversee construction activities onsite, ensuring safety and quality.
• Implement the Project Quality Plan and Safety Management Plan.
• Manage resources labor, materials, and equipment to optimize efficiency.
• Track delivery and monitor shop fabrications and supplier schedules.
• Act as liaison between clients, contractors, and stakeholders, ensuring communication.
• Address technical and logistical issues arising during construction.
• Maintain detailed project documentation and prepare progress reports.

• Oversee construction activities onsite, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
• Implement the Project Quality Plan and Safety Management Plan as per site requirements
• Manage resources labor, materials, and equipment — to optimize project efficiency
• Track delivery and monitor shop fabrications and supplier schedules for on-time delivery

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Process/Chemical Engineering, or a related field
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, construction techniques, and materials, including plant/equipment erection and thermoplastic piping
• Proven experience as a Construction Project Engineer or in a similar role, with 5 years of on-site experience preferred
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (MS Project, CPA/scheduling tools)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional stakeholder engagement
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Willingness to work onsite and in varied conditions, with PPE compliance as required
