Job summary

Tekskills Inc. is seeking a senior SRE/DevOps engineer with 6+ years of experience to lead CI/CD efforts, manage AWS and Azure workloads, and drive Kubernetes deployments. You will implement automation, monitoring, and secure platform patterns while collaborating with global teams and stakeholders.

The role requires strong scripting skills, excellent communication, and hands-on expertise in blue-green pipelines, Docker, and Terraform. Fluency in English is essential.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience as an SRE or DevOps engineer with CI/CD focus.
• Hands-on Jenkins for building and managing pipelines including blue-green deployments.
• Strong AWS and Azure experience with services like AKS, EC2, S3.
• Proficient with Docker and Kubernetes containerization.
• Experience with microservices, monitoring/observability, and troubleshooting.
• Strong scripting in Bash or Python for automation.
• Excellent communication and ability to collaborate with global teams.
• Fluent English with strong presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage cloud resources on AWS and Azure including containerized workloads.
• Support Kubernetes clusters and microservices deployment patterns.
• Automate repetitive tasks with robust scripts and tooling.
• Ensure observability, monitoring, and fast incident response.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and drive root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with development and platform teams across regions.
• Communicate clearly with stakeholders and provide status updates.
• Maintain security best practices and access controls.
• Assist in capacity planning and cost optimization.
• Document pipelines, runbooks, and standards for the team.
• Stay current with new DevOps trends and tooling.
• Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge.

Role & responsibilities

• 6+ years of experience as an SRE or DevOps Engineer with a strong understanding of CI/CD principles and practices.
• Hands‑on experience with Jenkins for building and managing CI/CD pipelines including blue‑green deployment configurations.
• Solid experience with AWS and Azure cloud platforms, including services like AKS, EC2, S3, etc.
• Proficiency in containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience working with microservices architectures and understanding the challenges and best practices involved.
• Strong understanding of monitoring and observability tools and techniques.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation and tooling.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
