Job summary

Tekskills Inc. is seeking an experienced SRE/DevOps Engineer to own and optimize continuous integration and deployment pipelines.

You will operate Jenkins-based pipelines, manage cloud resources (AWS/Azure) and container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes) for microservices, and drive reliability with solid monitoring and automation. The role requires strong communication, global collaboration, and customer-facing skills, with a focus on problem solving and performance optimization.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience as an SRE/DevOps engineer with strong CI/CD understanding.
• Hands-on Jenkins experience for building and managing CI/CD pipelines including blue‑green deployments.
• Strong experience with AWS and Azure cloud services like EC2, S3 and AKS.
• Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration.
• Experience with microservices architectures and related challenges.
• Solid monitoring and observability know-how; excellent troubleshooting.
• Scripting skills in Bash and Python for automation.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; fluent English.
• Ability to build relationships with global teams; customer interfacing is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and operate robust CI/CD pipelines across environments.
• Maintain Jenkins pipelines with blue-green deployment configurations.
• Manage cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure (EC2, S3, AKS).
• Administer containers via Docker and Kubernetes in microservices setups.
• Monitor systems, diagnose issues, and drive reliability improvements.
• Automate workflows with Bash/Python and improve tooling; document processes.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

• 6+ years of experience as an SRE or DevOps Engineer with a strong understanding of CI/CD principles and practices.
• Hands‑on experience with Jenkins for building and managing CI/CD pipelines including blue‑green deployment configurations.
• Solid experience with AWS and Azure cloud platforms, including services like AKS, EC2, S3, etc.
• Proficiency in containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience working with microservices architectures and understanding the challenges and best practices involved.
• Strong understanding of monitoring and observability tools and techniques.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation and tooling.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Fluency in the English language and excellent communication and presentation skills is a must.
• Ability to build strong relationships with extended global teams is a must
• Customer interfacing experience is a strong preference.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills is a must
