We are looking for a highly experienced and skilled Senior Network Specialist with SRE capabilities to join our team. The ideal candidate must have deep expertise in networking, troubleshooting complex network issues, and ensuring high availability and performance in large-scale environments. This role requires a proactive and independent problem solver with a strong ability to work in mission-critical production environments.

Major Responsibilities

• Lead deep-dive investigations into complex networking and production issues, collaborating across teams to ensure stability and reliability.
• Design, troubleshoot, and optimize network architectures, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
• Build and improve monitoring strategies to detect and prevent issues before they impact customers.
• Reduce operational workload and improve SLA response time through automation and self-healing mechanisms.
• Support critical production issues during working hours in India, acting as a key escalation point.
• Perform advanced network troubleshooting and resolve recurring platform issues across multi-region environments.
• Assist Account Managers and Customer Success teams with complex and strategic network implementations.

Requirements

Must Have:

• 10+ years of experience in networking and system engineering in large-scale environments (ISP, Cloud Providers, or Enterprise networks).
• Expert knowledge of networking protocols: TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VPN, DNS, NAT, iSCSI.
• Strong Linux system administration and troubleshooting skills.
• Proven experience in advanced network debugging, packet analysis (Wireshark / tcpdump), and performance optimization.
• Hands-on experience with network security, firewalls, and DDoS mitigation.
• Experience with configuration management and infrastructure-as-code tools (Ansible, Terraform).
• Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, Bash, or similar).
• Experience working with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS).

Nice to Have:

• Experience with cloud networking in AWS (VPC, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway, Route 53).
• Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Experience with virtualization technologies (Proxmox, OpenStack, VMware).
• Hands-on experience with HashiCorp tools (Consul, Vault, Nomad).
• Experience with SD-WAN, load balancers (F5, HAProxy, Nginx), and CDN solutions.

Relevant Certifications (Nice to Have):

• CCNP/CCIE (Cisco Certified Network Professional/Expert) – highly preferred.
• AWS Advanced Networking Specialty.
• CISSP or other security-related certifications – advantage.
