Job summary

Securonix is seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to support the availability, performance, and reliability of its enterprise SaaS platform in Pune, India. You will own major incidents, troubleshoot complex issues across services, and coordinate cross-functional resolution efforts.

The role requires strong Linux, AWS, Kubernetes skills, and experience with CI/CD, logging, and monitoring tools. Rotational 24x7 shifts and on-call duties are part of the job.

Qualifications

• Experience with AWS and Kubernetes administration tools such as Lens.
• Familiarity with Kafka, Spark, Solr, Redis, and large-scale data-processing platforms.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
• Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience supporting distributed, microservice-based applications.
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes, containers, cloud infrastructure, and service monitoring.
• Experience analyzing application logs, system metrics, API responses, and database records.
• Understanding incident, problem, change, and service-request management processes.
• Ability to write SQL queries for investigation and validation.
• Scripting or automation experience using Python, Shell, REST APIs, or similar technologies
• Experience with Jira, Zendesk, Nagios, Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk, or equivalent platforms.
• Understanding of SIEM, security analytics, ingestion pipelines, incident management, SOAR, and threat-hunting platforms.
• Experience with certificate management, authentication, RBAC, SSO, and API integrations.

Responsibilities

• Own P1, P2, and complex production issues escalated by L1/Customer Support.
• Troubleshoot application, microservice, ingestion, analytics, database, authentication, and infrastructure issues.
• Restore services within defined SLA, SLO, TTA, and MTTR targets.
• Coordinate incident bridges involving Customer Support, Engineering, Infrastructure, DevOps, and other stakeholders.
• Validate service recovery and monitor the environment after remediation.
• Prepare incident summaries and contribute to detailed Root Cause Analysis reports.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Support -

• Own P1, P2, and complex production issues escalated by L1/Customer Support.

Working Model:

• Rotational 24×7 shift coverage, including weekends and holidays when scheduled
• Participation in critical-incident bridges and on-call escalation.
