Summary:

We are looking for a Senior Staff Systems Engineer – Network & Security to lead the design and operation of secure, scalable, and highly available infrastructure supporting our internal IT and SaaS platform environments. This role is deeply hands-on while also setting architectural direction, with a strong emphasis on AWS networking, cloud security, and zero trust principles.

This position is particularly focused on post-acquisition integration, security program development, and continuous improvement of network and cyber defense architectures. You will play a critical role in securing internal systems, enabling developer productivity, and ensuring resilient connectivity across cloud and corporate environments.

You will serve as a subject matter expert in network infrastructure and cybersecurity, leading a team focused on ensuring resilient, high-performing systems that align with business and compliance requirements.

• Improveidentity-awareaccesspatterns(SSO,conditionalaccess,devicepostureintegration)

• Leadincidentresponseanddeeprootcauseanalysisfornetwork/securityevents
• Mentorengineersandinfluencecross-functionalteams(SRE,Security,DevOps)
• Leaddesignreviewsandlong-terminfrastructurestrategy
• Design,build,andmaturesecurityprogramsusingacombinationofin-housecapabilitiesandthird-partytools
• Own and operate the enterprise vulnerability management program across infrastructure, cloud, and application environments
• Establishassetvisibilityandcoveragetoensurecomprehensiveandcontinuousscanning
• Definerisk-basedprioritizationmodelsincorporatingexploitability,assetcriticality,andbusinessimpact
• PartnerwithengineeringandITteamstodrivetimelyremediation,includingSLAs,tracking,andaccountability
• Reportonprogrameffectivenessusingmetricssuchasremediationtimelines,exposuretrends,andriskreduction
• Oversee24x7monitoringacrossmultiplesecurityandinfrastructuretools,ensuringhighsignal-to-noiseandactionablealerting
• Establish incident response processes and lead major incident investigations
