Job summary

Pineswift Technologies in Gurugram, India, seeks an experienced IT professional with 5+ years of hands-on Linux administration, database management, networking, and information security to maintain and optimize our IT infrastructure.

You will ensure system availability, performance, and security, lead monitoring and patch management, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and document SOPs and procedures.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in System Administration, Infrastructure Management, or similar.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Linux, Networking, or Security certifications are an added advantage.

Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced IT professional with 5+ years of hands‑on experience in Linux administration, database management, networking, and information security. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing IT infrastructure, ensuring system availability, performance, and security.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer, monitor, and troubleshoot Linux-based servers and environments.
• Manage and maintain databases, including performance monitoring, backup, and recovery activities.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with Linux Administration (Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu, or similar distributions).
• Good understanding of Database Administration concepts (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or similar).
• Solid knowledge of Networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Routing, and Switching.
• Understanding of Information Security principles, system hardening, access controls, and vulnerability management.
• Experience with monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of infrastructure components.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Qualifications
