Job summary

Deloitte Shared Services India is seeking an experienced SRE to design, implement, and maintain scalable Kubernetes-based infrastructure in a cloud-native environment. The role emphasizes Kubernetes operations, Helm charts, and multi-environment deployments across cloud providers, with a focus on reliability and scalability.

Collaboration with development, security, and ops teams, shaping incident response, monitoring, and best practices for cloud-native platforms.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering.
• 4+ years of hands-on Kubernetes experience in a production-grade environment (EKS, GKE, AKS, or self-managed clusters).
• Deep knowledge of Docker, Helm, and Kubernetes components (e.g., controllers, CRDs, networking, RBAC).
• Strong proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Anisble or similar).
• Expertise in CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI.
• Proficient in scripting and automation (Python, Bash, Powershell).
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with service mesh (e.g., Istio or Linkerd) and Kubernetes security best practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Background in monitoring, logging, and incident response processes.
• Experience with GitOps tools like Argo CD or Flux.
