Job Description: Site Reliability Engineer

We are seeking talented and experienced engineers with a passion for infrastructure and automation for the position of Site Reliability Engineer (SRE).

In this role, you will collaborate with the development team to integrate software and systems engineering, managing large-scale distributed systems and maintaining system capacity and performance.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in architecture discussions, design, planning, and implementation.
• Conduct research to ensure optimal development paths.
• Document projects to facilitate user integration.
• Drive proof of concepts and minimal viable products for demonstration.
• Design and deliver Infrastructure as Code.
• Develop and implement automation for routine tasks such as alerting, system monitoring, and response mechanisms.
• Create and maintain dashboards for monitoring and observability.
• Support services pre-launch through system design, software platform development, capacity planning, and launch reviews.
• Manage incidents and participate in on-call rotations.

Education and Experience:

• Strong foundational knowledge of Linux/Unix systems.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an SRE, DevOps, or Software Engineer.
• At least two years of programming experience in a conventional programming language.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes; experience with bare metal or non-managed Kubernetes is a plus.
• Proficiency in Python and other scripting languages.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code and configuration management tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Helm, Puppet, Chef).
• Networking and cloud computing experience.
• Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Bash, Python, Go, Node.js, Java, or similar.
• Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
• Experience with Grafana Mimir.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools and SDLC practices.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in remote teams.
