Job summary

Tekskills is seeking an experienced SRE/DevOps Engineer to manage CI/CD pipelines, deploy and scale microservices, and ensure robust monitoring and observability across AWS and Azure environments. You will work with Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform to implement blue-green deployments and automation.

The ideal candidate brings 6+ years of SRE/DevOps experience, strong scripting in Bash/Python, and excellent communication to collaborate with global teams.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience as an SRE or DevOps Engineer with CI/CD expertise.
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins for building and managing CI/CD pipelines including blue-green deployments.
• Experience with AWS and Azure cloud platforms (AKS, EC2, S3).
• Proficiency in containerization with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with microservices architectures and observability
• Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python) for automation.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and blue-green deployments.
• Manage cloud resources across AWS and Azure, including AKS and storage services.
• Implement and monitor containerized microservices with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Develop automation scripts for deployment, scaling, and maintenance.
• Collaborate with global teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Role & responsibilities

• 6+ years of experience as an SRE or DevOps Engineer with a strong understanding of CI/CD principles and practices.
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins for building and managing CI/CD pipelines including blue-green deployment configurations.
• Solid experience with AWS and Azure cloud platforms, including services like AKS, EC2, S3, etc.
• Proficiency in containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience working with microservices architectures and understanding the challenges and best practices involved.
• Strong understanding of monitoring and observability tools and techniques.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation and tooling.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Fluency in the English language and excellent communication and presentation skills is a must.
• Ability to build strong relationships with extended global teams is a must
• Customer interfacing experience is a strong preference.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills is a must
