Job summary

Qualification, Experience and Responsibilities -

For the Assistant Engineer (A.E.) position, candidates should have a degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering with 8 years of experiences required. Alternatively, candidates with a diploma in Civil/Mechanical Engineering and 10 years of experience, will also be considered for the A.E. role. Experience in working with government departments or the private sector on infrastructure projects, particularly related to Water Supply Schemes and the construction of Water Treatment Plants (WTP), is desirable. Additionally, experience in supervising the installation of pumping machinery, taking measurements, preparing running and final bills, quantity surveying, and BOQ preparation is essential. Knowledge of modern and digital survey techniques, along with proficiency in preparing AutoCAD drawings, is also required.

Duty Station :

The duty station of the expert will be at Amritsar.

Remuneration :

Tentative Pay range INR 75,000 – 1,00,000 per month for Assistant Engineer which is negotiable and shall commensurate with experience and qualification

Duration :

The appointment to the post will be on contract basis initially for a period of one year and likely to be extended based on the performance for subsequent year thereon. The engagement of candidate will be on full time basis.

Reporting Arrangements :

The AE will report to the Project Manager and Superintending Engineer (Projects), Amritsar Municipal Corporation.
