Job summary

Cloudxtreme is seeking a Senior VoIP Engineer to lead the development and optimization of our core communication infrastructure. You will shape the architecture and stability of voice services, ensuring high-performance connectivity through expert handling of SIP signaling, gateways, and SBCs.

In a Linux-based environment, you will develop low-level voice applications in C/C++, requiring 5–10 years of hands-on experience in SIP, signaling, and media routing.

Role SummaryWe are looking for a Senior VoIP Engineer to lead the development and optimization of our core communication infrastructure. This is a high-impact role requiring a deep technical foundation in session signaling and media handling. You will be responsible for the architecture and stability of our voice services, ensuring high-performance connectivity through expert-level management of SIP protocols and gateway technologies.

Core Technical ExpertiseThe ideal candidate brings a decade of specialized experience in Voice, VoIP, and SIP protocols. You should possess an authoritative understanding of SIP Stackdevelopment and a proven track record of managing SIP Media Gateways and Session Border Controllers (SBCs). Your background must include at least 5 to 10 years of hands-on experience in these areas, specifically focusing on session management, call routing, and protocol security.

Development & EnvironmentBeyond protocol expertise, this role requires strong systems-level programming skills. You will spend a significant portion of your time working within a Linuxenvironment, utilizing C/C++to develop and maintain low-level voice applications. We require 2 to 5 years of professional experience in C/C++ programming and Linux systems administration to ensure our software is both scalable and robust.
