Lead/Senior Lead Software Engineer (Java/Go/C++ Developer with VoIP)

Experience : 6+ Years

Job Type : Full Time

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, development, and maintenance of VoIP systems and applications.
• Develop and implement Call Processing, Contact Centre Domain, WebRTC, and VoIP protocols (SIP/SDP/RTP/RTCP.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of VoIP systems into other systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues within VoIP systems.
• Stay up to date with the latest VoIP technologies and trends.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
• Manage a team of developers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines.
• Develop multi-tenant, multi-threaded, and concurrent carrier-class systems handling thousands of calls simultaneously.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience : 6-10 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on Java. Proficiency in additional languages like C++ or Golang is a plus.
• Media Frameworks : Experience working with media processing frameworks (e.g., GStreamer, FFmpeg, WebRTC) and related technologies.
• Media processing systems like streaming, media servers, Audio / Video codecs, media engine etc.
• VOIP: In-depth understanding of VOIP technologies, protocols, and systems.
• System Design : Strong experience in system architecture and design, with the ability to scale solutions for high performance and reliability.
• Technical Skills:
  - Proficient in Java and at least one additional language (C++ or Golang).
  - Strong understanding of multithreading, concurrency, and performance optimization.
  - Knowledge of media and telecommunication protocols (e.g., RTP, SIP, H.264).
  - Experience with cloud technologies and microservices architecture is a plus.
• Problem Solving : Excellent troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholder
• Experience in developing VoIP applications on AWS or other cloud platforms.
• Experience in managing a team of developers.
• Experience in developing Microservices-based applications.
