Job summary

CAE Inc is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician in Delhi, India to diagnose complex issues on training devices and perform preventive maintenance on simulators and related systems. The role includes training other technicians, daily readiness checks, and coordinating maintenance activities to ensure reliability.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and correct complex problems on training devices.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks on the simulators and associated simulator systems.
• Utilize Maintenance Management System to record and track maintenance activities.
• Provide technical training for other technicians.
• Perform daily readiness checks on designated simulators.
• Support technical teams with re-qualification of simulators.
• Function as a subject matter expert on at least one discipline.
• Supervise the execution of Qualification Test Guides and furnish documentation as required.
• Assist Engineering Team with modifications, design changes, and software enhancements.
• Perform refurbishment and hardware modifications.
• Pursue knowledge and skills to enhance technical expertise.
• Perform software changes to fix simulator problems.
• Coordinate maintenance activities within an assigned group or project.
• Assist Group Lead/Maintenance Planner in day-to-day operations.
• Learn and comply with CAE Compliance Management System.
• Provide customer service support and address customer needs promptly.
• Perform logistics duties, including parts received, repair, and testing/validation.
• Carry out housekeeping to maintain simulators.
• Perform administrative tasks as required.
• Support the technical services group as needed.
• Comply with local and CAE Health, Safety and Environment rules.

• Effectively supports the technical teams with re-qualification of all simulators.
• Able to function as a Subject Matter Expert on at least 1 disciplines.
• To supervise the carrying out of Qualification Test Guides and supply documentation as and when required by the appropriate Authority or as necessary.
• Assist Engineering Team with modifications, design changes, and software enhancements.
• Perform refurbishment and hardware modifications.
• Actively pursue knowledge and skills to enhance ability as a technical expert.
• Perform software changes to correct problems on the simulators and associated simulator systems.
• Coordinate all maintenance activities within an assigned group and / or project.
• Assist Group Lead and/or Maintenance Planner & Controller in day-to-day operation of maintenance activities.
• Learn and comply with CAE Compliance Management System.
• Provide customer service support and address customer needs in a timely manner.
• Perform logistics duties, including parts received, repair, and testing/validation.
• Perform housekeeping functions to maintain the simulators as required.
• Perform administrative tasks as required.
• Perform tasks to support the technical services group as required.
• Is compliant with local and company Health, Safety and Environment rules and regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
