Job Title: Assistant Manager – Indirect Tax
Job Summary:
The Assistant Manager, Indirect Tax will play a critical role in ensuring the recording and correctness of all indirect tax related compliances of our automobile company.
Responsibilities
- – Tax planning for benefits of company.
- – Checking/ verification of Invoices with regards to input admissibility, RCM, TCS and Tds deduction on the same.
- – Reconciliation and verification of all GST records with Financial Records.
- – Determination and timely payment of all GST dues within stipulated time.
- – Submission of all reports & returns with accuracy to GST dept on time.
- – Keeping all records GST in readily retrieval mode.
- – Keeping internal records of GST for satisfying tax authorities.
- – Verify and release all GST returns on time as prescribed by law.
- – Timely refund from GST department in case due to company.
- – Advising management on various matters of GST as first level subject expert.
- – Work with internal & external team to Interpret issues on all tax related matters, Liasoning with consultants on SCN matters, Appearing before various authorities with legal consultants.
- – Create systems & processes whenever needed to ensure that the best of practices due to amendment in GST law will be followed.
- – Handholding of all stakeholders, periodical training of other department on various important legal provisions related to GST Law.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Preferably CA
- Minimum of 3 to 10 years of experience in finance and accounting, with a focus on the automobile industry.
- Good working knowledge of MS Office particularly Excel
