The Role
The focus of this role is to work with 3rd Party vendors for the external IPs in Analog Perspective on cutting edge technologies for AMD AECGs project specific requirements, and as per need basis design/develop inhouse Custom Analog Digital circuits.
The Person
You have a passion for modern, lower technology node, analog/circuit/mixed signal/architectural problem solving. Self motivated to file Invention disclosures in the field of work. You are a team player who has excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with other engineers located in different sites/timezones. You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and are willing to learn and ready to take on problems.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with architects, hardware engineers, external vendors, timing/PD engineers, firmware engineers etc. to understand the new features and translate into optimal analog/circuit design solutions.
- Build simulation plan documentation, accounting for interactions with other features, the hardware, the firmware use cases
- Perform simulation, modeling, and analysis to ensure compliance with performance and reliability specifications.
- Generate comprehensive technical documentation, including design reports, validation results, and test summaries.
- Support validation and debugging of analog and mixed-signal circuits during development and post-silicon phases.
- Drive continuous improvement of design methodologies, tools, and workflows.
- Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and share best practices from industry experience.
Preferred Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Hands-on experience in analog circuit design and integration, preferably in sensors, die-to-die interfaces, GPIOs, and system-level design closures.
- Expertise in RTL design/verification would be an added advantage, with a solid understanding of digital design principles.
- Proficiency in circuit simulation tools such as SPICE, Cadence, or equivalent EDA platforms.
- Working with external 3rd party vendors in closing the specifications in analog perspective understanding the system-level dependencies.
- Proven track record of working in interdisciplinary teams and delivering high-impact solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and manage complex technical challenges.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly.
Academic Credentials
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Microelectronics / ECE
