Job summary

Weekday's client is seeking a CAD engineer in Bengaluru with 1+ year of experience. You will create 3D models and 2D drawings, ensuring GD&T compliance and alignment with manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities include updating CAD models, interpreting drawings, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet project timelines. Full-time on-site role in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Siemens NX CAD required.
• Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings and GD&T knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create 3D models of mechanical components and assemblies using Siemens NX CAD.
• Prepare 2D engineering drawings with dimensions, tolerances, and annotations.
• Develop part models, assemblies, and detailed manufacturing drawings.
• Interpret engineering drawings, sketches, and technical specifications.
• Perform basic design modifications and update CAD models.
• Apply GD&T principles wherever required.
• Understand manufacturing processes such as machining, sheet metal fabrication and injection moulding.
• Maintain CAD models, drawings and engineering documentation.
• Coordinate with senior design engineers and other departments to resolve design-related issues.
• Follow company design standards, engineering procedures, and project timelines.
